Family Days project

dowdPRG’s 2015 project to support prison Family Days in 2015 was a great success. With generous sponsorship from the Siobhan Dowd Trust and Give a Book, we provided books and book bags for 478 children visiting their parents in twelve prisons. University of Roehampton graduate students in Children’s Literature also took part, contributing book expertise, planning support and volunteering on the day. Read more…

New grant from the Drapers’ Fund

drapersA generous grant from the Drapers’ Company will make a substantial contribution to the support of PRG’s fourteen groups in the Greater London area for 2016. We are very grateful.


Funding for more Family Days at HMP Wandsworth


PRG has been awarded money from the Wandsworth Borough Grant Fund to support five Family Days at the prison in 2016. The funding will enable us to provide books and book bags for at least 250 visiting children. Thank you!
