The PRG group at Wormwood Scrubs is fairly new and were thrilled to receive an early visit from Ned Beauman. ‘What got you started?’ The questions began before half the group had got into the room. He talked about his new novel Glow, a ‘drug thriller’ which had intrigued the group and led to a great discussion.

Cathy and Maggie

Cathy Rentzenbrink came to HMP Thameside to talk about her powerful family memoir, The Last Act of Love with the PRG group run by volunteer Maggie Gallagher. The group loved it and talked about how much love and support there was in the book: not only in the family but also in the whole village community. Cathy tweeted her thanks for ‘the warm welcome and the insightful chat’.

Graham Coster is a publisher and editor who also runs another of the three PRG groups at Thameside. In October he welcomed Dreda Say Mitchell to talk about her new novel Death Trap.
